![]() ![]() I also have had some conversations with Sam Bennett at PianoWorks in Atlanta and I almost visited his store to look at a 7’ Hailun he had on order, but I came across the C7 before I made it. The key touch of the C7 is superb as well. It also has the rare 1-piece real ivory key-tops and the feel of the keys is very nice, though there is some discoloration and slight yellowing in places. I believe my C7 has also been rebuilt at some point in the past, and has a lot of life left in it. ![]() I did purchase the Yamaha C7 that I initially inquired about in this thread and I love it! It is a substantial upgrade from my 5’10†Japanese Tokai grand, (which is actually a decent piano). This is indeed a real “Piano World†forum! I came across this site about 4 years ago and have really enjoyed it! I’ve learned a lot here and have made some friends, both from the US and in other countries abroad. Hi Terrell, and welcome to the Piano World Forums! and passed the Yamaha piano plant there many times. I also live about 25 miles from Thomaston, Ga. ![]() The people at PianoWorks are a "class act". It is a new piano and sounds better than ever. It was new and not "grey market" I had it rebuilt this year by PianoWorks in atlanta with abel hammers, rosleau strings, mapes bass and regulation. I also have a yamaha c7 with the "B" in the number. ![]()
